January 23, 2018“Wonderful experience, riding with Pat and her wranglers. The horses were so well behaved and responsive that all fears on some of the steeper areas were quickly dismissed. Trust your horse, they know where to put their feet. There is not enough room to tell about the wonderful scenery that we experienced and every day way different. My favorite memory is riding along the edge of a canyon wall and seeing the edge get narrower. I began to wonder if we would run out of edge and if so, how we would get around the canyon. We did run out of edge and ended up going down the side of the canyon to the bottom. That as a fantastic experience as we turned the horses loose and helped them find their way down the red sand canyon walls.
The overnight camp was located on a high plateau with wonderful views all around. Roger, the camp jack knew how to make a breakfast to fill even the pickiest of eaters. And the dinners, amazing. Still, nothing compares to the cool, clear nights with all the stars in attendance. This is just something that is not seen anywhere where there are lights to disturb the darkness. Definitely a must do for horseback vacation lovers.”
